Our History
Building a stronger future for Hispanic businesses across Imperial County.
Why the Chamber Was Created
The Imperial County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was established to address a growing need within the local business community. Local entrepreneurs and business owners wanted more than traditional networking opportunities—they sought practical business support, strategic partnerships, advocacy, education, and meaningful connections that generate long-term value.
From its beginning, the Chamber was designed to serve as a modern organization focused on helping Hispanic-owned businesses start, grow, and thrive while strengthening the regional economy.

A New Vision for Imperial County
Rather than following a traditional model, the Chamber was founded with a forward-looking vision centered on innovation, collaboration, leadership, and measurable impact. By connecting businesses with resources, educational opportunities, government agencies, investors, and strategic partners, the Chamber seeks to become a catalyst for long-term economic prosperity throughout Imperial County and the broader Cali-Baja region.
